My Journey

I wasn’t feeling good for a really long time (think decades)...when my husband played for the Lakers they hired a Dr and Nutritionist to work with the players and their families. Through this experience I saw firsthand the power of nutrition to change the way we feel, and a spark was ignited in me to learn more and fix my health and my family's.
I attended the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN) and learned from some of the world’s best doctors, nutritionist, health coaches and other leaders in the health and wellness industry.
But I couldn't keep all I had learned to myself, I wanted to share this knowledge with the world. I now run a thriving health coaching practice and it's been one. of life's biggest blessings to be able to give back and help others.

The IIN Difference

IIN is recognized by the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching which allows graduates to sit for board certification as a Certified Health Coach.

After graduation IIN grads are eligible to pursue higher education through partnerships with colleges and universities.

IIN is licensed by the New York State Department of Education which means you can have confidence in the validity of your education.

IIN is unlike any other nutrition program in the world. Not only will you learn over 100 dietary theories from the world's leading experts, but you'll also walk away with the skillset and expertise that will support your future clients in addressing their health concerns in a truly holistic way.

Your First Step

Whether you're looking to learn more to support your own health or your family's (how I started!), looking for a side job (where I ended up next!), or searching for a full blown future career (where I am now!), I'd love to support you in taking your first steps.

IIN offers both one-year and six-month accelerated programs and IIN's only academic requirement is a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent, making it easier than you think to get started.

I'm sure you have more questions - cost, time commitment, the support offered, career opportunities - so, let's schedule a virtual coffee date.

From Kristen:

There is so much more to health than just food.

This is why IIN is called the Institute for Integrative Nutrition - because you need to be able to see the big picture, from a holistic perspective,  and integrate manageable diet and lifestyle changes to be truly healthy.

At IIN, I studied practical lifestyle management techniques, innovative coaching methods, over 100 dietary theories, preventative health, Ayurveda, acupuncture, herbal remedies, homeopathy, traditional foods, supplements, and more.

This gave me the foundations for a successful practice today and is why I am so grateful for my time at IIN.
